Allsop Commercial sold a total of 109 lots with a success rate of 86% at their second auction of 2015, held on March 25th at The Dorchester.
16 lots managed to achieve in excess of £1m, including five which sold for over £3m, with an average lot size of £604,000. The team raised a total of nearly £66m from the sale.
Duncan Moir, Partner and Auctioneer, commented: "It was a very strong result for our clients and an exciting auction room with enthusiastic bidding from a variety of sectors.
"The demand for both single let investments and multi-let, management intensive assets was very clear. The result lifts out first quarter sales to over £100 million."
The highest selling property of the day was Lot 84, an unbroken retail parade in Lewisham, SE13, which sold for £5.02m after competitive bidding, whilst Lot 7, an attractive Barclays Bank in Bromley, raised £3.45m.
