Allsop Commercial continued their success at their recent auction held on 6th July at The Dorchester, by raising in excess of £83m with bidders competing strongly for the vast majority of lots.

In their fourth sale of the year, they sold a total of 139 lots reflecting a success rate of 84%, with an average lot size of £597,000. 74% of all lots sold in the room were above reserve. 26 lots have now been sold in excess of £1m, with four being sold at or above £2m.

Duncan Moir, Partner and Auctioneer, commented: "Demand, predominantly from cash buyers, continues to outstrip supply."

"Our auction room provides sellers with unrivalled access to this pool of demand, and enables them to take full advantage of the current market conditions and the strong prices being achieved."

The highest selling property of the day was Lot 95, an unbroken parade comprising seven shops, a convenience store and 14 flats in Carshalton, which sold for £4.43m (5.77%).

Allsop Commercial are now accepting entries for their next sale, to be held on Tuesday 20th October 2015.
